Lady Ga-Ga who???!?!?

Now that I’m in my 40s, I’ve been looking for role models of older women to pattern myself after.  Grace Jones is on the list, right up there with Tina Turner and Eartha Kitt.  Grace is every bit of 60+, but she is just as beautiful and ridiculous as ever.  This 2011 performance is proof positive that this woman has not lost one bit of flair.

So, if you’re ever visiting or planning to visit #Memphis & you see these artsy tigers as you move through the city, allow me to explain why. My 2-time alma mater, the University of Memphis has these tigers commissioned for its’ 100 year anniversary in 2012. To commemorate, they had 100 of these tigers, which is the school’s mascot, crafted. Some of the tigers were sold while the rest are seen around campus. Every last one of these tigers are different which makes them rather dope. #memphis #art
